Organised by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), SITEX is the longest running consumer IT exhibition in Singapore. For 21 years, SITEX has provided an excellent platform for companies to showcase and launch IT products, services and technologies to a wide and targeted audience. I am particularly pleased that last year's SITEX (2009) achieved a visitorship of more than 850,000 - the highest record achieved so far over four days of the fair. The responses from our exhibitors to last year's event was also extremely positive. More than 92% of the exhibitors surveyed met their business objectives of increasing sales and raising awareness of their products and services at SITEX. It was also encouraging to know that over 94% of exhibitors had indicated that they would return to the show in 2010. More than 94% of the visitors looked forward to visiting SITEX next year, while 40% of the visitors had prior intention to spend at least $1000 at the show. This is undoubtedly the best affirmation on the success and quality of the show. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all exhibitors, sponsors and media partners who have given SITEX their unyielding support in the past years. I look forward to welcoming new participants at the show; I am sure you will benefit from the rewarding exchanges and business opportunities on the show floor.
