NGV India 2010 will be the 2nd International Natural Gas for Vehicles event held in India and will be held at Bombay Exhibiton Centre (BEC) premier trade exhibition from 24-26 November 2010.
India has the 5th largest fleet of natural gas vehicles in the world but most importantly holds the highest NGV growth potential in the world with over 220 cities planned for CNG development, a nationwide distribution pipeline By 2012 India旧 CNG pipeline will stretch 12,000 km, connect 15 states and reach a population of 160,000,000 people, making it the number one NGV investment opportunity in the world today.
New Delhi has been selected as the host city for NGV India 2009 as the pioneer of India旧 CNG public transport conversion and and host of India旧 largest CNG infrastructure with fueling stations serving over 150,000 vehicles. In New Delhi alone there are 4 million registered vehicles with 963 new vehicles being added to the roads daily CNG.
NGV India 2009 is supported by Gail (India) Ltd., India旧 principal natural gas transmission and marketing company with equity states in CNG and City gas ventures not only in Delhi but also Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Tripura, Kanpur, Vadara, Lucknow and Agra.
